With Denton starting school, I have found myself having too much free time. So I have started to pick up some little projects here and there to pass the time. One of the many projects on my list was making a candy dish (it's the one pictured above) for the upcoming Halloween season. There is a really cute pottery studio a few minutes from our apartment and I just could not pass up the opportunity to do something new. So I called up my friend Liz and we left our husbands to study. Painting our candy dishes was so much fun. We were at the studio for about 3 hours. More talking then painting got done. And we are already planning our next trip and of course I found some coupons for next time.

How fun! Glad you are finding ways to keep busy with your hubby gone so much. It's adorable.
